Existing research and chemistry rooms were removed allowing for a complete remodel of the usable space. Divided into separate work areas, graduate and undergraduate users are allocated computer terminals and provided with IT support from a central administration ‘hub’. New integrated teaching aids, media printers, wire management systems and data terminal locations are included in the renovation. Window openings are screened with translucent shades providing lighting complementary with the new indirect ceiling mounted fixtures.
