Terminal 1 Improvements
Oakland International Airport, CA
SKA’s design included 20 new ticket counter positions featuring state-of-the-art plasma and LED display systems, Airline Ticketing Offices, take-away belts, covered baggage make-up area, new concessions offices, and a new passenger greeting area as well as several exterior modifications. Our familiarity with the airport’s existing terminals, ticketing and baggage systems was essential in evaluating the cost and impacts of how the airport could best comply with the FAA’s Aviation Security Act.

The firm, along with their subconsultants, did an excellent job in preparing quality contract documents and providing support during construction. The projects also met the Port’s budget and schedule.
