The
Visual Arts and Design Center represents
the collective educational vision
of the University’s Art, Architecture
and Art History Departments. The
project encompasses the renovation
of three existing buildings utilized
by the School of Art and Architecture
and provides a new 93,300 square
foot facility that houses a new
library, faculty and administration
offices, sculpture studios and a
new art gallery for the University.
Design is utilized to unite the
various physical and programmatic
components of the project into a
unified interdisciplinary educational
center.
