With schematic design provided by Legorreta + Legorreta, SKA’s scope of service included design development, contract documentation and construction administration. Built for the pursuit of water sport activities, ocean orientation and beach access were important to the project. Casa Weisel features a large balcony facing the sea and an interior patio that encourages and celebrates indoor-outdoor living. Large limestone exterior terraces pass into the interior. A lap pool with an infinite edge frames the ocean edge of the house. Maui’s mountain and ocean views are captured from the variety of interior rooms, terraces, patios and balconies. Major interior features include limestone and hardwood floors, custom frameless windows and sliding doors, and an entry tower.
